Who We Are

About the Moose Jaw Kinsmen Club

Empowering Moose Jaw and region through leadership, volunteerism, and community resource funding since 1942.

A Legacy of Enriching Our Community

The Moose Jaw Kinsmen Club was established in 1942 by local leaders who envisioned a thriving, inclusive community for all residents in the city and throughout the region. In the more than 80 years since, we’ve been able to lead by example through volunteerism, build up the community through engaging events, and fund facilities and projects to serve people in and around Moose Jaw.

It’s a legacy we’re excited to carry into the future. By building on the original Kin Canada values of Excellence, Pride, Integrity, Inclusiveness, and Compassion, we’ll continue to enrich our community by helping it stay active, healthy, and engaged. It’s how we are, and how we’ll always be, Serving the Community’s Greatest Need.

What We Do

The work of the Moose Jaw Kinsmen Club is all around us, from sports facilities and parks to healthcare centres and family events. There isn’t a part of community life in Moose Jaw that our Club doesn’t touch.

A Part of Kin Canada

The Moose Jaw Kinsmen Club is a proud member of Kin Canada. Founded in 1920 by Hal Rogers, Kin Canada’s original vision to serve the needs of local communities is one its partner organizations continue to this day. With member clubs in every province, it’s also the largest national service association in the country.

Now in its second century, Kin Canada remains rooted in the principle of Serving the Community’s Greatest Need. For Moose Jaw, it’s a mission our volunteers pursue by working together to identify local challenges. We then mobilize the community through fundraisers, events, and other projects. It’s how we build on the legacy begun by Hal Rogers all those years ago.
